Legal Compliance Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a qualified and ambitious Legal Compliance Officer to ensure that the company operates according to the law in all its activities and effectively handles legal issues in various areas, as well as to negotiate and execute contracts with customers and any other third parties in a timely manner. The position is for full-time internal collaboration and belongs to the Quality Assurance discipline in the Compliance area.

responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of new/existing customer and supplier contracts
Draft and/or review legal letters
Μanaging all types of contract templates and legal documents (minutes, articles of association, company licenses, etc.)
Handling company’s legal affairs and liaise with/assist external lawyers
Conduct internal investigation to prepare labor and court cases files
Representation of the company to authorities, labor inspection bodies, etc., when required
Maintaining physical and digital records of contracts and legal affairs
Control of supplier certification specifications
Preparation of the list of contracts for declaration to the tax office
Handling matters necessary to comply with the GDPR
Advise Management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations

requirements

Degree in Law
Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a similar position or/and in a law firm
Good knowledge of Labor, Corporate and Business law
Excellent command of both written and spoken Greek and English
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret complex policies and regulatory documents
Integrity and professional ethics
Knowledge of GDPR, insurance and compensation matters is a plus
